2nd Starcraft

Since 2000, Blizzard fans around the world have dreamed about what it would be like to play a StarCraft MMO. Heck, I dreamed too and if you’re reading this, then you might as well. But is there such a thing as World of StarCraft? Well, the guys at StarcraftUniverse.org managed to pull this one through; it’s not a full scale MMO taking the team oriented gameplay style of WoW and combining it with action hack-n-slash RPG elements of Diablo 2, as you can see in the video below:

Obviously there is no such thing as World of Starcraft or Starcraft Online or whatever you want to call it. The following is a fan made MOD based on Blizzard’s StarCraft 2 game. Pretty wicked, you have to admit.

Notice how the StarCraft 2 engine, obviously designed for an RTS, rivals World of WarCraft graphics when zoomed?

Here’s a Christmas treat for ya: the StarCraft 2 version of 12 Days of Christmas. And yes, those are real actor voices from the original StarCraft game, released by Blizzard in 1999. Hoping that you will not hate all this singing, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Oh… and a brand new SCV.
