Pay once, play forever. Plus fans are always making lots of great “custom” maps which contain great mini-games. It’s a very good value if you keep playing!
The expansion will cost you another 60 bucks, but that won’t release until around May of 2012.

this was elfi’s game – its quite easy to look “good” playing as a terran – it doesn’t take as much skill and class. everything is basically provided for you as terran. all you have to do is macro up which too is extremely easy as terran.
skill and real player’s grit belong to the toss and zerg
I’m not a great player or anything, but that last engagement had me facepalming. Siege tanks?!? Retreat to the choke point and we’ll all mass up there… Oh well, everyone makes a silly errors and they’d still likely whoop me.

Maybe the elf should have kept pressure on the main base to try and cripple the terran’s economy… i dunno…
Terran is so unstopable when he macros up a large army, it’s not even funny…
Elfi played fairly well, but he missed something that I see a lot of protoss players neglect: Sentries. Against a massive terran infantry push, there’s nothing better than sentries for separating an army, thus allowing it to be picked off with ETL colossi and stalkers. He could have held the Terran main, as well.
Also, just a few phoenixes can work wonders against a Terran push, for killing vikings (keep your colossi alive) and then driving off medivacs or temporarily knocking out tanks.
