Lets Learn StarCraft 2 – Part 2/2 – Episode 2 – Tutorial

A continuing series analyzing mid to low level play. These are not ‘the best of the best’ but more geared towards the average player. I want to make it clear I’m not bashing on the players when I say someone is doing something wrong, it is to help others learn so they can have a better idea of how to react should they find themselves in a similar situation. Please let me know what you guys think of this series!

It’s a nice concept but i think it’s more usefull when ur talking about good micro/macro strategies, not just things that the average players know about, no offense.

Casting units intimidate a lot of new players, because they require micro, and a lot of players who played SC1 had LOTS of difficulty with them. Like I never used High Templar in a main army, because I’d end up psystorming like 10 times in one spot because I picked more than one… I did the High Templar drop on the minerals. The new micro mechanics make using spellcasting units a lot easier.

    Desperation Zerglings, that was great.

  • great0able says:

most players cheeze to get where they are, so they actually can be in platinum, prob finally try a real game, look at the low diamond they all cheeze

  • great0able says:

also the thing wrong with his play, is he needs to get those bases saturated, thats the reason he couldn’t pump out more units

  • HuntedWater says:

I am a Bronze player, And im alot better then those guys, in terran and zerg.

  • vishap4evr says:

Yes Yes guys, you are all better. but if he would show perfect games, nobody would learn nearly as much.

I prefer to watch games where people do all the standard-mistakes and he points them out. Thus I can consciously avoid them.

Perhaps those players KNOW a lot beter, but they just can’t pull it off under pressure or it’s just not routine enough yet. So next game everyone can look at his game and consciously remember to follow those tips.

    Great commentary, please more. :)

thanks, this is very helpful for a weaker player, like myself!
