@longjiaxi613 moreover he could have been fine, but dimaga decided to defend while ALL of the infested terrans were still up (with only 10 seconds left)… If he’d just waited those 10 seconds he’d have 6 queens vs 20 mutas

Besides, Infested Terans haven’t changed since the game was released. If it was OP, Blizzard would’ve done something about it by now.

And seeing “crazy” new strategies is so much fun than the average HURR DURR LING ROACH MUTA – Enemy spawns MUTA too – Counter with HYDRA – Enemy counters with more ROACHES so you make more MUTA and Enemy counters with HYDRA then someone gets sick of the game and makes ULTRA and loses the game because didn’t use Nydus Worms or somehow balanced its forces.

Usually this is the most boring match almost like watching paint go dry. But this time I really enjoyed it. Good job Crota.
@ikarageurov The amount “per trip” is irrelevant to my point. The point is you can sit on one or two bases much much longer and get many more units than you would in broodwar. Therefore, people playing BW style and expanding frequently are at a disadvantage.
@9011255 A one-base Terran does frequently steamroll a zerg player on 3 bases… It has nothing to do with my skill. I am top 5 diamond. The point is a massive, maxed, terran army with strong unit composition will crush a maxed zerg army, especially in these choke heavy maps. The extra bases, income, or production will not prevent the Terran from rolling over base after base.
But I don’t know why I bother responding, you are obviously a troll who wants to claim strangers are “weak” and “suck.”
i felt dimaga could have taken map control and kept adver in his main with his mutas he had so many mutas and his base only had 3 spores? I know spores are strong,but his mutas couldve taken them.

LOL ! I sure did not see that coming ! Maybe if Dimaga had intercepted the army before he had a chance to spawn infested marines, he would have stood a chance.

I won’t lie: that was a lot of fun to watch. I’d say it’s OP, but if you let a zerg player tech that far and mass that many infestors without punishing them–well, woe betide you. Your fault for waiting. Comments about Terran aside, the use of infested terrans IS greatly limited by their mobility and expiration time. Catch the infestor army out of position and you force them to either die or waste all their energy making infested terrans at which point you can run away and wait for them to die.

@jdseemoreglass well, i guess u dont play zerg much, and dont play much good zerg. nobody should lose when they have 3x your bases, and on choke maps u can still win, ever heard of siegebreaker units?? broodlords?? and some extra aa for them few vikings. i highly doubt u are top 5 and steamroll ppl on 1 base when they have 3 bases on max food…. and WHY WOULD U B ON 1 BASE WITH MAX FOOD??? either u are not agressive or your opponent isnt agressive…
