If you have studied many of the Starcraft 2 strategies, you are probably wondering which one is the best and where to get started.  There really is no best or worst strategy.  It all depends on what your goals are in the game and how long it takes you to achieve them.  There are many offensive attack strategies and also several defensive strategies.  Just make sure you learn a mix of both so you are able to both attack your opponent effectively and muster a counterattack in defense.

There are many reasons why you should rush when playing Starcraft 2.  You have a definitive advantage when you rush as opposed to risking defeat if your opponent rushes you first.  Your defenses can be severely weakened and crippled if this happens.

Make sure you scout properly and if you rush have your defenses prepared to counter attack the enemy.  Just try to cripple the enemy and take as many miners with you as you can.  Use your scouting to size up the enemy and see what they are building.  Just make sure when you are rushing the enemy not to lose more money than by destroying your opponents base.
